The passed year of 2004 was a year in which our great motherland had been marching forward bravely and advancing with the times in its process of attaining the goal of building a well-off society and promoting the socialist modernization. Led by the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Central Party Committee, Hu Jintao, abiding by Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thoughts of ‘Three Represents’, all the nation earnestly executing the scientific development opinion.
